Previous studies have demonstrated the importance of sketching in design cognition, particularly in the early stages of architectural design. We intended to show the necessity of hand sketch during all the developmental stages. Once understood the design we proceed to computer generated drawings e.g. AutoCAD and sketch up. The result of this study suggested that the quantity of sketches produced gives positive correlations between the design visualization and building the wall.
